Milia can be found on the skin of people of all ages and they form when keratin becomes trapped beneath the outer layer of the skin, therefore forming a cyst. Laura will complete a skin consultation to understand whether the client’s milia are primary or secondary before recommending the correct treatment. Often the milia will be cauterised which is where a small diathermy current is passed through the skin and the keratin within the milia is absorbed back into the skin. Laura’s milia treatment is a very quick and easy process with minimum downtime needed.
