Xanthoma is a yellow flat plaque that is found on the upper and lower eyelids, most often near the inner part of the eye. Xanthoma is often a symptom of raised cholesterol in the body and can be hereditary but is more common in men and women in their 40s and 50s. As with other skin conditions Laura treats, Xanthoma does not cause any physical discomfort but for many clients they choose for it to be removed or reduced for cosmetic reasons through our quick and easy process that offers good cosmetic results for our clients.
